Blister Sealers

Blister Sealers come in several designs and sizes, each made for different levels of productivity.    At CPI, we sell both new and used machinery,  Please email for more information.

Below are descriptions of some of the most common sealer types.

A rotary blister sealer is a perfect mid-level machine.  The sealing trays rotate around a round table, stopping for a predetermined time for loading at each station.  After the blisters, product and card have been loaded, the tray rotates to a sealing station where a hot plate presses down onto the sealing tray and seals card and blister together in about 2-3 seconds.   On the model pictured at right, modular stations can be added to automatically load the cards, or remove finished product.  Other models are available with this equipment built in.

Most machines run on 100V and can be run with a small compressor supplying air.  Rotary machines come in standard sizes of 2 stations(manual), 4 stations and 6 stations.  Sealing areas are usually 12"X14" or 14"X18" .

The perfect machine for small quantity/start up production is the shuttle.  Available in one station or double sided, the shuttle is a great way to get started.  The machine at right is a single station sealer with a 10"X12" sealing area.   The sealing cycle is activated by pushing the tray into the machine, the sealing head automatically lowers onto the sealing tray and creates a seal.

These machines sell for under $4,000.00 new, and usually sit on a table top.  They run on 110V power and only require a small air compressor.
